Hunter Education Information

Due to a change in his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Tubbs will not be offering a spring hunter safety class. However, if your child plans to hunt this year but has not yet completed hunter education, they can still purchase tags—completion of the course is only required before they go out into the field.

Hunter education classes can be taken online at ODFW Hunter Safety Education Courses, but a field day is still required, along with a $10 field day fee.

Mr. Tubbs will be offering an in-person hunter safety course for students in 5th grade and up. The class will be held in his classroom on the following dates:
September 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

• Class size is limited to 20 students.

• The cost is $10.

• Advance online registration is recommended.

How to Register:

2. Select the desired course from the list.

   • If the course is not visible, click "See More Events in This Group" to find additional options.

3. Follow the registration instructions to complete the sign-up process.
