Dear Pine Eagle Community,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! It is a tremendous honor to serve this community as Superintendent. I truly love being part of the Pine Eagle School District and continue to treasure the strong relationships we’ve built with our students, families, and staff. Pine Eagle is a special place — one where we put students first and work together to ensure every learner has the opportunity to succeed.
As we look forward to a new year, I’m filled with excitement and optimism. This year brings continued momentum in academic innovation, student well-being, and college and career readiness. We remain focused on empowering every student through meaningful learning, access to technology, hands-on career exploration, and personalized support.
Some key updates and focus areas for 2025-2026 include:
Continued Academic Growth: We are expanding access to rigorous coursework, including additional dual credit and CTE (Career & Technical Education) opportunities, and emphasizing real-world skills that prepare students for life beyond high school.
Mental Health & Wellness: Student mental health remains a top priority. Our counseling resources and wellness supports to ensure students have the tools they need to thrive socially and emotionally.
Technology & Innovation: With our 1:1 device initiative and upgraded digital platforms, students will have more opportunities to learn using technology.
School Safety: We continue to collaborate closely with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office and local agencies to maintain safe, welcoming campuses. Updated safety protocols and emergency procedures are regularly reviewed and practiced across all schools.
Community Engagement: We’re working to deepen community connections through open forums, family nights, and expanded volunteer opportunities. Your voice matters, and we welcome your partnership in shaping a strong future for our schools.
Our staff has been working hard this summer to prepare for a smooth start to the school year, and we are eager to welcome your students back on campus. Whether your family is new to Pine Eagle or returning for another great year, we are glad you are part of our school community.
Thank you to all the parents, students, and staff for your continued flexibility, commitment, and support. Together, we will make 2025-2026 a year of growth, learning, and success.
Please stay safe, stay involved, and let’s have a great year!
Warm regards,
Cammie deCastro
